“The long awaited revised versions of information security standards ISO27001 and ISO27002 have now been launched.  This is the refresh at long last of two very important standards which have been around since 2005. Anyone working in information security or who has responsibility for the subject in the organisations they work for should seriously consider getting hold of the standards to understand how these compare with the originals and where work needs to be done to align existing controls, processes and procedures going forward.â€
